PASADENA, MD — A new animal shelter is set to open in Anne Arundel County in a few weeks.
Rise Above Animal Rescue & Sanctuary will celebrate the grand opening of its new facility Saturday, Aug. 20 at 8541 Ft. Smallwood Rd. in Pasadena from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"We will have many adoptable cats & dogs, ribbon cutting, vendors, food trucks, music, games, information booths, pet-themed yard sale, raffle baskets, and a 50/50 raffle," organizers said.
