Pasadena Man Critically Injured In Car Crash, Police Say

A 59-year-old man is critically injured after his car crashed into a pole in Pasadena Sunday, police said.

PASADENA, MD — A Pasadena man is critically injured after his car crashed into a pole on North Shore Road at Mountain Road in Pasadena, police said.

The crash occurred at about 9:07 a.m. Sunday. Investigation shows that David Netzer, 59, was driving his Chevy truck outbound on North Shore Road when he left the right roadway and struck a utility pole just before Mountain Road, police said.

Police believe the crash happened because Netzer failed to remain in a single lane. Witnesses told police a medical event may have incapacitated Netzer before the crash. Neither speed nor alcohol/drug use is believed to be a factor, police said.
