Police Arrest Teen in Pasadena on Gun, Drug Charges

A Baltimore teen who police found with crack cocaine and a fully loaded .357 Magnum revolver in Pasadena will be charged as an adult, according to Anne Arundel County police.

According to a press release, police responded at 6 p.m. Tuesday to the Freetown area in reference to complaints of drug activity. Detectives then observed what they suspected was drug activity in the area of Darrell Henry Court.

Police said the teen, who appeared armed, ignored orders to drop the gun and immediately fled on foot. During the pursuit, detectives reportedly saw the teen throw the gun under a bush on Levy Court.

Police said they took the teen into custody and arrested him after he was found to be in possession of 3.41 grams of suspected crack cocaine, $113 in cash and drug paraphernalia. Police also recovered a fully loaded gun: a .357 Magnum revolver.

Police said the 17-year-old from Baltimore was charged as an adult with the following: 

• Did wear/carry a concealed firearm
• Under 21 possession of firearm
• Possession of firearm in relation to a drug crime
• Possession of CDS with intent to distribute crack cocaine
• Possession of crack cocaine
• Possession of CDS paraphernalia (digital scale/baggies)
• Failure to obey a lawful order
