Police Identify Hit-and-Run Victim as 20-Year-Old Pasadena Woman

Police identified a hit-and-run victim as Samantha Kreppel, 20, of Pasadena.

The victim of a fatal hit and run incident in Pasadena on Monday has been positively identified by police as Samantha Nicole Kreppel, 20, of Pasadena.

Kreppel, of the 1600 block of Colony Road in Pasadena, was a student at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, and graduate of Chesapeake Senior High School. 

The Chief Medical Examiner's office concluded that Kreppel died from injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle, which then fled the scene, police said. She was found Tuesday lying on the edge of Bayside Beach Road in Pasadena. 

Anne Arundel County police said the vehicle is likely to be a 1982- to 1985-era Mercedes Benz, model 300, 400 or 500. The vehicle could have right-front damage and may also have damage to its fender, hood and glass, according to a press release.
