Police Release Video of Suspect in Laurel Shooting Case
Police said they'd like the public's helping in finding a man accused of assaulting a security guard at the Weis Market in the Corridor Marketplace shopping center.
Anne Arundel County police have released a video of the man suspected of stealing a gun and firing shots inside a Laurel grocery store Sunday.
The video posted on YouTube features store security footage of the man walking the aisles of the Weis Market in the Corridor Marketplace.
According to police, a security guard approached the man after suspecting him of shoplifting. The man scuffled with the security guard, then stole his handgun and ran way, police said.
Police said they are hopeful members of the public will watch the video and recognize the suspect's walk or mannerisms.
