Police Search for Trio of Armed Robbers in Glen Burnie

A suspect put "an unknown metal object" against the victim's head while another man rifled through her purse, police said.

Police believe a man put a weapon to a woman's head as she sat in her car in an armed robbery in Glen Burnie Tuesday night.

Authorities are searching for three men involved in an armed robbery on West Ordnance near Shelly Road in Glen Burnie on Tuesday at about 11:20 p.m.

A 19-year-old female told police that she had pulled her vehicle onto the shoulder of the road while waiting for friends. Then, a Toyota Solara pulled up beside her, and a man got out of the car and put "an unknown metal object" against her head while a second man rifled through her purse and took items, according to a police report.

Both suspects then returned to their vehicle, driven by a third suspect, who then drove away. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

The suspects' vehicle is described as a black Toyota Solara with gold lettering on the rear, with a partial Maryland tag number of 7AB.
