ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD – Hosting your family for the holidays is a lot of pressure. Your mother-in-law likes to splurge at fancy restaurants, but your aunt prefers sitting down at a relaxed bar and grill. It's almost impossible to make everyone happy, but there's no harm in trying. Good news is we asked Patch readers in Anne Arundel County what their go-to places are and they delivered. Take a look at this list and find a place you can all agree on.

Here's what Patch readers had to say about their favorite haunts:

  • "Edgewater restaurant, best crab cakes in the area. Hands down!"
  • "Nova sushi . Yum-O"
  • "I refer visitors to Downtown/Historical Annapolis (pretty much Annapolis in general), Piney Orchard Trail, Quiet Waters Park, Sandy Point Park, Davidsonville Park, Fat Boys Crab Shack, Waugh Chapel Towne Center, I also think Edgewater is a nice area for walking."
  • "Edgewater Restaurant for sure. I'd add Londontown Gardens to the list this year with the illumination event - it's very nice especially under a full moon."

  • "Fat Boy's Crab Shack, Waugh Chapel Towne Center, Crofton park is nice to walk in"
