Retired Teacher Joins Ranks of Pasadena Authors
Jane Reville's "The Plaid Robe" is a fictional memoir about life in Baltimore.
Retired Anne Arundel County Public Schools teacher Jane Reville is the latest Pasadena resident to publish a book with the release of The Plaid Robe. It's a fictional coming-of-age memoir about a girl growing up in Baltimore in the 1950s and '60s.
Reville was recently featured in the The Maryland Gazette She is one of several authors from the Pasadena area.
Earlier this year, Pasadena Patch ran a piece about , writer of A Dream, A Day and 7 Years, a personal journal that was published in 2010.

“I didn’t expect it to take off,” said Norman in that piece. “A lot of people that have read the book have been moved to keep a journal.”

“I have some (books) that are geared to the broke college student, some for the person that may only have $100 to start and then I go all the way up to advanced concepts that are explained in a way that is easy to understand,” said Michaud.
Another local writer who's often featured on Pasadena Patch is author Sandra Humphrey, whose featured blog posts are from her work on her book of the same name about people who have risen up to overcome challenges.
