Severn Man Arrested for Sex Offense in Pasadena

A Severn man was apprehended at the 8100 block of Ritchie Highway in Pasadena and arrested in association with sex offenses at 5 p.m. Monday.

According to Anne Arundel County Police Department Public Information Officer Justin Mulcahey, police responded to a call from a citizen who reported a suspicious vehicle. When they arrived, they spoke with Lawrence Ryan King, 22, of Severn and a 14-year-old female from Baltimore. King was partially disrobed.

Both King and the female were transported to Eastern District, where further investigation found that King and the female had met on MySpace in August and had met numerous times and engaged in sexual activity since then.

Ryan was placed under arrest and charged with Third and Fourth Degree Sex Offense. Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
