Sports Poll Results: Which Area Team Will Make it to the Playoffs?

In our on Saturday we asked a question on everyone's minds: which area sports team will make it to the playoffs this season? Will the Baltimore Ravens, the Washington Redskins, both or neither go the distance?

The response was overwhelmingly in favor of the Ravens, with the birds earning 86% of the overall votes. The Redskins only got one vote while two responders said that neither team will make it to the playoffs.

Response from Pasadena residents on the street was also overwhelmingly in favor of the Ravens.

"No question that the Ravens are going to make it," said Don Reed from Pasadena. "I'm a little surprised the Redskins are even an option! At least you didn't ask if we thought the Steelers would make it."

"Ravens," said Lou Martin from Glen Burnie. "Ravens, Ravens, Ravens. Purple all the way. We've got Flacco, we've got Smith, we've got the playoffs."

The Ravens recently won against the Steelers in a game on Nov. 6, scoring 23 to the Steelers' 20.
