Transformer Explosion Burns Man at Power Plant
Maryland Occupational Safety and Health has launched an investigation into cause of the incident.

A man suffered severe burns in a transformer explosion at a power plant in Pasadena early Wednesday, a fire official said.
At about 7 a.m., a 40-year-old man was found at the Raven Power Plant on Brandon Shores Road in Curtis Bay. The explosion resulted in second- and third-degree burns over 60 percent of his body, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Departemnt Spokesman Division Chief Keith Swindle.
The victim, who was not identified, was transported by ambulance to Bayview Burn Center in Baltimore.
Maryland Occupational Safety and Health has launched an investigation into cause of the incident, according to Swindle.
