Two New Jersey Men Attempt to Rob Mobile Home

Anne Arundel County Police have arrested the suspects for home invasion, burglary, handgun violation, and assault.

Two armed New Jersey men reportedly drove to a mobile home in Anne Arundel County Nov. 10 to demand money they say was owed to them -- only to be thwarted by the target’s wife.

Suspects Michael John Roy, 37, of North Middletown, NJ and Ronald E. Roy, 38, of Red Bank, NJ drove to a mobile home in Millersville to rob a man who they claimed owed them money, police said.

At 1:12 p.m., officers from the Western District of the Anne Arundel County Police Department arrived at the KOA Campground on Cecil Avenue South in Millersville, after receiving report of an armed suspect at the camp.

According to investigators, after Michael Roy tried to force himself into the victim’s home at gunpoint, the woman managed to kick him until he fled to the car, where Ronald Roy was waiting.

Police stopped the vehicle shortly after, and both suspects were arrested on charges of attempted home invasion, attempted first-degree burglary, handgun violations and first- and second-degree assault.
