AVFD Collecting Donations for Troops

Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary is sponsoring a "Christmas Shoe Box Project" for deployed troops.

They are looking for donations of travel-size personal hygiene items, coffee, candy, calling cards, hand sanitizer, beef jerky, gum, mints, and any small Christmas items that will be a little bit of home this holiday season.

They are also in need of shoe boxes. If you are able to donate, please bring the items to the AVFD at 5200 Southwestern Blvd. There will be a box for donations at both inside entrances to the AVFD Hall. Donations will be accepted through November 30th.
