Free Coffee At Wawa On Thursday, April 13
Maryland's 'Wawa Day' celebration will be at the Halethorpe store on Washington Boulevard, but all locations will be offering free coffee.

HALETHORPE, MD β April 13 is "Wawa Day," when the convenience store celebrates its birthday, and customers can get a free self-serve coffee to celebrate.
At all of its stores, the promotion will be available; each person is limited to one coffee of any size, free of charge, as part of the Wawa Day festivities on Thursday, April 13.
During Wawa day, Wawa will host six in-store celebrations β one in every state where it has presence β and the Maryland Wawa Day Celebration will be at the location on Washington Boulevard in Halethorpe. At the event, the Wawa Foundation will present checks to the Food Bank of Maryland, Moveable Feast and Special Olympics.

Founded April 16, 1964, Wawa opened its first store in Folsom, Pennsylvania. It was known as "Wawa Food Market." This year the company is celebrating its 53rd birthday a few days early, and we're not mad about it.
"Wawa Day provides us with a chance to connect with and honor the millions of customers weβve served over the past 53 years who have been so integral to Wawaβs growth over that time,β Chris Gheysens, Wawaβs President and CEO, said in a statement.

The Maryland Wawa Day Celebration will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, at the Wawa store located at 3716 Washington Boulevard in Halethorpe. Coffee will be free all day but donations and ceremonies will occur at 9 a.m.
