You’re Invited: Patch Blogger Party
Go to Bateman's in Reisterstown to meet some Patch editors and talk about blogging.

On May 4, Arbutus Patch opened up its space for bloggers.
Tonight, we will be inviting the online community from several Baltimore County Patch sites to meet in person at Bill Bateman’s Bistro, 102 Chartley Drive, in Reisterstown.
The social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. and goes until 7:30 p.m. or so.

Come if you want to learn about blogging for Patch sites in Catonsville, Reisterstown, Owings Mills or Arbutus.

In short, blogging is not a reporting post. You write what you want to say when you want to say it. Do it on your schedule, whether that's posting multiple entries per day or a couple times a month. Patch won't own what you post, so you can repost your entries to your other blogs. Much like The Huffington Post has done, Patch is providing local bloggers an online platform to have their words seen by a larger audience.
Patch editors-who will be at the gathering-are responsible for recruiting and inviting community members to blog and would love to meet you to hear about what moves you to write.
