Arrest Made In Killing Of Baltimore Police Lieutenant’s Husband
Sahiou Kargbo, 18, of Baltimore has been charged with first-degree murder, Baltimore police announced Wednesday.

BALTIMORE, MD — Police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting death of a Baltimore police lieutenant’s husband. Sahiou Kargbo, 18, of Baltimore has been charged with first-degree murder, police announced Wednesday.
Police said he is responsible for fatally shooting James Blue III last Tuesday along the 1400 block of Walker Avenue just before 3 p.m. He is the husband of Baltimore Police Lt. Lekeshia Blue, multiple news outlets report.
WJZ-TV reported that Blue was waiting for an appliance delivery and on the phone with his son when he was shot. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.

One day after the fatal shooting, policed offered a $14,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest in the case.
A possible motive for the shooting was not immediately known.

Baltimore City Public Schools confirmed to WBAL-TV that Kargbo is a student at Mervo High School.
Following his arrest, police said Kargbo was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
