Car, Light Rail Crash In Baltimore: Fire Officials

BALTIMORE, MD — The light rail and a car crashed on Howard Street Thursday afternoon, according to Baltimore Firefighters Union IAFF Local 734. The collision occurred before 1:30 p.m.

Crews rescued the driver, who was trapped in the 100 block of Howard Street, officials said.

The driver was hospitalized in stable condition, authorities reported around 1:45 p.m.

Howard Street was blocked from Lombard to Pratt street, officials said.
