MD Boxer Gervonta Davis Uninjured In Private FL Jet Crash

A plane's nose gear collapsed as it took off from Fort Lauderdale on Saturday. The passengers included Baltimore boxer Gervonta Davis.

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore boxer Gervonta Davis walked away after being involved a plane crash at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport over the weekend.

The plane crashed on Saturday afternoon at around 2 p.m., according to The Baltimore Sun, after its nose gear collapsed as it was trying to take off from the airport.

Davis and 13 others were on board, and the professional boxer said in a video posted to Twitter that he didn't suffer any significant injuries.

"The plane didn't take off. It took off, but didn't take off," Davis said in the video.
