BALTIMORE, MD — As the Baltimore Ravens square off in their week one matchup against the Houston Texans, a new report shows the team and league are rolling in the big bucks.

The average NFL team is worth $5.1 billion, Forbes reported — 14 percent more than 2022, and a record high. The Ravens, meanwhile, saw their valuation increase 19 percent to $4.63 billion, according to the report.

The team ranks 17th in the NFL for its value. The Washington Commanders rank No. 8 for value among NFL teams, at $6.05 billion after their recent sale.

Ravens, By The Dollars

  • Current value: $4.63 billion
  • One-year change: 19 percent
  • Debt/value: 6 percent
  • Revenue: $544 million
  • Operating income: $108 million

Commanders, By The Dollars

  • Current value: $6.05 billion
  • One-year change: 8 percent
  • Debt/value: 17 percent
  • Revenue: $545 million
  • Operating income: $87 million

Perhaps the least surprising part of the report: the Dallas Cowboys were the most valuable team, at $9 billion, according to Forbes. “America’s Team” was the only NFL team to rake in more than $1 billion in revenue.

The Tennessee Titans saw the highest year-over-year increase in valuation, climbing a whopping 26 percent to $4.4 billion.
