MARYLAND — You never know just who or WHAT might pop in uninvited — and one Maryland homeowner knows that all too well.
An unusual visitor — an injured bald eagle — showed up at a Charles County resident's home recently.
The homeowner's doorbell camera captured the eagle perching on a rocking chair on the front porch, according to Maryland Department of Natural Resources Wildlife and Heritage Service.

They were able to safely capture the eagle and give it a brief exam, officials said.
The eagle was then transported TriState Bird Rescue for further evaluation and treatment.
