MD's Best Mexican Food Is At This Baltimore Eatery, New List Says

BALTIMORE, MD — When it comes to indulging in Mexican cuisine in Maryland, the best eats can be found at Tortilleria Sinaloa in Baltimore, according to a new list.

To compile a new feature showcasing the best Mexican restaurants in each state, cooking website LoveFood.com sorted through user reviews, awards, and accolades to determine which eatery residents flock to for their fix of tacos, fajitas, and guacamole. They also took the first-hand experiences of employees into account when making the list.

According to the list, Tortilleria Sinaloa is worth the stop in Maryland.

Located in Fells Point, this "small, unassuming and hugely popular" restaurant is beloved by many for its tasty Mexican fare ranging from freshly made tortillas to a dish with a Maryland twist.

"The tilapia fish taco with butter sauce is seasoned with Old Bay, a seasoning born in Baltimore that's traditionally used to flavor chicken wings, crab and shrimp," the staff at LoveFood.com wrote.

Online reviews also appear to sing Tortilleria Sinaloa's praises and often mention their tacos, tortilla chips and tamales.

"The tacos came out quickly and were massive. So fresh and flavorful, I rudely licked my fingers after finishing every tasty morsel," one Yelp reviewer raved.

"The real deal. I am here at least once a week. The food is so fresh. My favorite is literally everything," another wrote.
