MTA Announces Parade Street Closures, Diversions

From MTA: On Sunday, April 2, 2017, from 11:00AM to 4:00PM, the Maryland Greek Independence Day Parade Committee will host its annual parade.

During this event, Eastern Ave. will be closed between Ponca and Haven Streets; Ponca St. will be closed between Eastern Ave. and Hudson Street. These street closures will necessitate the following diversions:

No. 10, 13, and 22 Lines

• Westbound: Via the regular route on Eastern Avenue to Ponca Street, then:
• Right on Ponca Street
• Left on Lombard Street
• Left on Haven Street
• Right on Eastern Avenue,
• then via the regular route.

No. 10 and 13 Lines

• Eastbound: Via the regular route on Eastern Avenue to Haven Street, then:
• Left on Haven Street
• Right on Lombard Street
• Right on Ponca Street
• Left on Eastern Avenue,
• then via the regular route.

No. 22 LineEastbound:

• Via the regular route on Eastern Avenue to Haven Street, then:
• Left on Haven Street
• Right on Lombard Street
• Straight on Lombard Street to Bayview Boulevard
• Right on Bayview Boulevard
• Right on Alpha Commons Drive,
• then via the regular route.

No. 26 LineWestbound:

• Via the regular route north on Ponca Street to O’Donnell Street, then:
• Left on O’Donnell Street
• Right on Highland Avenue to Lombard Street,
• then via the regular route.

Eastbound:

• Via the regular route on Highland Avenue to Lombard Street, then:
• Straight on Highland Avenue
• Left on O’Donnell Street
• Right on Ponca Street,
• then via the regular route.

No. 31 LineWestbound:

• Via the regular on O’Donnell Street Cut Off to Ponca Street,
• then:Straight on O’Donnell Street to Macon Street
• Straight on O’Donnell Street,
• then via the regular route.

Eastbound: No Change.

Reliefs:

Westbound on the No.10, 13, and 22 Lines:

• Will be made on Lombard Street at Ponca Street.

Eastbound on the No. 10, 13, and 22 Lines:

• Will be made on Lombard Street at Ponca Street.

Westbound on the No. 26 and 31 Lines:

• Will be made on O’Donnell Street at Macon Street.

Eastbound on the No. 26 and 31 Lines:

• Will be made on O’Donnell Street at Macon Street.
