Ravens Tight End Mark Andrews Involved In Car Crash, Team Says
Baltimore Ravens player Mark Andrews was heading to the team's Owings Mills practice facility when he was in a car crash, officials said.

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews was involved in a car crash Wednesday morning while on his way to a practice facility in Owings Mills, the team said in a statement.
Andrews was in a car traveling to the Under Armour Performance Center when the crash occurred, officials said. He was evaluated by the team’s medical staff, who determined Andrews did not suffer any injuries in the crash.
The location and circumstances of the crash remain unclear.

"I appreciate everyone’s thoughts and well wishes," Andrews said in a statement released through the team. "This is a great reminder about the importance of wearing seatbelts and remaining alert while driving a car."
Last year, the three-time Pro Bowler and 2021 All-Pro suffered quadriceps and ankle injuries, limiting him to 10 games played, according to the NFL. He's played a full season just twice in his career but has consistently worked toward being as available as possible to fill an essential role in Baltimore's offense, the organization said.

In 2023, Andrews caught 45 passes for 544 yards and six touchdowns, according to CBS Sports. He's caught 20 touchdowns over the past three seasons in 42 games played, earning him a No. 3 ranking among all tight ends.
