Town-By-Town MD Snowfall Totals For Jan. 16 Storm As Bitter Cold Moves In
Snowfall tallied about 5 inches in Bel Air to nearly 6 inches in Columbia and 4 inches in Baltimore. See snow totals across MD from the NWS.

MARYLAND — Winter weather returned to Maryland with many cities covered in 4 to 5 inches of snow by Tuesday morning, and bitter cold will soon follow the storm into the state. Low temperatures will drop into the low teens the next two nights, the National Weather Service said.
Most school districts in the Baltimore-DC region canceled classes Tuesday.
Snowfall totals ranged from less than 2 inches in southern Anne Arundel County to 5 inches in parts of Montgomery, Prince George's and Howard County. The lowest amount a spotter reported in the state was 1 inch in Lexington Park in St. Marys County.
