13 Maryland Counties Are Under A Wind Advisory With 50 MPH Gusts Possible

MARYLAND — A wind advisory is in effect Tuesday from noon to midnight for 13 Maryland counties plus the city of Baltimore.

The National Weather Service's advisory calls for winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” the advisory says. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.”

Tuesday Night: A chance of showers, mainly between 8pm and 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. Windy, with a northwest wind 21 to 26 mph decreasing to 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 44 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. North wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 49. North wind 5 to 8 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. Light and variable wind becoming east 5 to 8 mph in the morning.

Thursday Night: Showers likely, mainly after 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 52. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Friday: Showers. High near 64. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
