1 Killed In Harford County Crash Involving Pedestrian: Officials

A deadly crash occurred on Philadelphia Road Sunday night, according to authorities.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — One person died in a crash involving a pedestrian Sunday night in Harford County, officials said.

The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported it was clearing the scene of the fatal crash before 7:45 p.m. on Philadelphia Road/MD 7 at Fashion Way.

Because the road was expected to be closed for the investigation, Joppa-Magnolia officials advised drivers to take another route.

Route 7 was closed in both directions at Fashion Way, the Maryland State Highway Administration reported after 7:45 p.m.

Officials said after 10 p.m. that the road had reopened.
