10 Winter Festivals And Events Maryland Residents Shouldn’t Miss
From oyster shucking and ice skating to ice sculptors, s'mores fire pits and a winter arts fest, there's plenty to do in the winter in MD.
Winter festivals make cold weather fun for Maryland residents seeking an antidote for cabin fever that can set in at this time of year.
The first Cambridge Ice & Oyster Festival was held in 2022 during a snowstorm. The event has grown from 50 ice sculptures and more than 8,000 visitors to even more activities and guests. At the festival, there will be even more ice sculptures, kid-friendly golf, thrones, ice slide and other games, Cannery Way with local oysters and craft beer to nosh on, ice bars, ice carves, s'mores fire pits, live music, oyster shucking demonstrations, a Rescue Fire Company train garden and ice skating.
We’ve rounded up 10 winter events that bring people together and create warmth against the cold.
