$1M Paving Project Begins On Bel Air Bypass
Weather permitting, a road project in Harford County will be finished by late December.
BEL AIR, MD — A road improvement project is underway on US 1 along the Bel Air Bypass.
Crews are resurfacing a stretch of US 1 from MD 147/Harford Road to Winters Run, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.
Roadwork includes milling, patching, resurfacing and installing reflective markings along the 1-mile stretch of road.

Temporary single-lane closures are possible from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday along the US 1 Bel Air Bypass, effective Monday, Nov. 8.
Performing the work for the $1 million project is Gray & Son Inc. of Timonium, according to the State Highway Administration.
