2 Harford High School Soccer Teams Capture State Title
Two Harford high school soccer teams captured the state title this past weekend in their respective classes.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Two Harford County high school soccer teams captured the state championship recently.
The Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association Soccer State Championship announced that Havre de Grace girls soccer team beat Perryville Saturday 1-0. It was their first 1A state title. Havre de Grace scored the go-ahead goal in the 55th minute.
Harford Tech boys soccer team beat Allegany 2-0 Saturday. The title also was the first in Harford Tech history. The Cobras were Class 2A runner-ups in boys soccer in 2021 before dropping in classification.

The MPSSAA Soccer State Championships were held at Loyola University's Ridley Athletic Complex Nov. 16-18.
