Active Shooter Report This Week At Aberdeen Proving Ground Unfounded
Aberdeen Proving Ground Police said a report of an active shooter report on campus this week was unfounded.
ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, MD — Officials confirmed that a false report was made Tuesday regarding an active shooter on the C5ISR campus at the Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Aberdeen Proving Ground Police cleared the buildings targeted in the false report without finding any concerns or issues.
APG said on social media that there was no active threat or shelter-in-place at the time.

"The buildings were cleared out of an abundance of caution and employees are now cleared to return to workspaces," APG officials said. "We appreciate the swift efforts of APG emergency services to ensure the safety of the workforce."
