Police Seek Man in Attempted Brierhill Robbery

The incident took place Friday morning, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Police are looking for a man who cut and attempted to rob a man Friday morning in Bel Air.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office said an employee at the Dollar Tree store in the 200 block of Brierhill Drive was taking out trash behind the store when he was approached by a white male wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

According to a news release, the male demanded the employee's wallet, and then pulled a pocket knife, waving it toward him and cutting the victim's side.

Police said the victim was able to push the male away, and the suspect ran from the area.

Police searched the area for the suspect, who remained at large as of Sunday morning. The investigation is ongoing.

The victim declined treatment from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, according to the news release.
