Belcamp Man Charged In Fells Point Shooting

A Harford County man has been charged in a shooting in Fells Point, according to police.

BALTIMORE, MD — Two Cecil County men and a Harford County resident have been charged in connection with a shooting in Fells Point, according to police.

Detectives said the men got into a fight inside a local establishment in the 1700 block of Thames Street, then piled into an SUV and shot the victim from inside the vehicle.

The shooting occurred around 1:05 a.m. on Jan. 15, according to police, who said the victim was hospitalized with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

These men were arrested Wednesday, Feb. 2, and charged in the shooting, officials said:

  • Nathan Presbury, 25, of Belcamp
  • Ronald Maranto, 31, of Perryville
  • Luciano Bruno, 26, Cecilton

Police said Presbury, Luciano and Maranto are being held without bail. They have been charged with offenses such as conspiracy to commit murder, attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and handgun-related crimes.
