Cadbury Eggs vs. Peeps: The Ultimate Easter Candy Debate

Leave your carrots for the Bunny—Easter is a holiday for the sweet-toothed.

Americans are expected to spend $2.2 billion this year just on Easter candy alone, according to the National Retail Federation.

Among the endless Easter sweets popping up on store shelves, there are two that undoubtedly remain at the top: Cadbury Creme Eggs and Peeps. With Easter soon approaching, we had to revisit the age-old debate: which one is better?

Although a seemingly simple question, the answer may never be known.

We put the question to Bel Air Patch Facebook fans, filled with impassioned Easter candy lovers—and fierce opposers—to weigh in on the debate.

The result: Inconclusive. Bel Air Patch readers are very particular about their Easter treats and Cadbury Eggs or Peeps didn’t quite make the cut.
