Child Porn Charges Filed Against Bel Air Man

BEL AIR, MD — A 51-year-old Bel Air man has been arrested for being in possession of child porn. He is the father of Rachel Morin's oldest child.

Matthew McMahon was arrested by Maryland State Police Tuesday. In September 2025, a trooper assigned to the Harford County Child Advocacy Center launched an investigation into McMahon's alleged possession and viewing of child pornography. McMahon was identified as possessing photos and videos depicting child pornography, according to the state police.

As a result of the investigation, on Tuesday, troopers from the Maryland State Police – Child Exploitation Unit, deputies assigned to the Harford County Child Advocacy Center, members of the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and agents from Homeland Security Investigations, served a search warrant at McMahon’s home in Bel Air and arrested him at the scene without incident.

McMahon has been charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography. He was taken to the Harford County Detention Center where he is being held without bond.
