MARYLAND — For a taste of comfort food, Marylanders should check out the Cracker Barrel that's opening up in Annapolis. If your sweet tooth is calling, swing by an Annapolis donut shop that was featured in a new TV show.

But if adult beverages are what you're really craving, be sure and stop at a taphouse opening in Anne Arundel County that will offer patrons more than 100 beers.

MD Restaurant Makes One Of Country's Best Dishes, New Report Says

The Times staffers visited 33 states and ate more than 200 meals in search of the best restaurants in the country, and from that chose "The 23 Best Restaurant Dishes We Ate Across the U.S. in 2025." A Baltimore restaurant ended up making that list for its shrimp and corn patties dish.

Taphouse Sets Opening Date For 1st Anne Arundel County Location

Maryland's fourth World of Beer is slated to open Jan. 12 in the former Applebee's that has been closed since late 2020.

Annapolis Donut Shop Featured In New TV Show

Sandy Pony Donuts got a cameo in the "Pluribus" sci-fi series, which debuted Nov. 7 on Apple TV. Sandy Pony says the show creators reached out nearly two years ago, asking to use their donuts in the drama.

Cracker Barrel Nears Completion In Annapolis Restaurant Park

Cracker Barrel is replacing the old Fuddruckers, which closed years ago, across from the Annapolis Mall. This will be Cracker Barrel's second location in Anne Arundel County.
