Drivers Should Avoid This Stretch Of Long Corner Road During 10-Week-Long Project
A portion of Long Corner Road in White Hall will shut down to through traffic for approximately 10 weeks for a construction project.
WHITE HALL, MD — Drivers who use Long Corner Road in White Hall will need to find another route as it will be closed for approximately 10 weeks.
Crews will be working on replacing a culvert along the stretch of road between Duncan Road and Lieb Road starting June 23. Emergency vehicles and school buses also will not be allowed through the area during the closure, according to the county.
Drivers are reminded that the Abingdon Road Bridge H-0169 over CSX between U.S. 40 (Pulaski Highway) and Shrewsbury Road in Abingdon also will be closed for approximately eight weeks, weather permitting, starting June 16.
