Harford County Elementary Named 2025 National ESEA Distinguished School
Hall's Cross Roads Elementary School has been chosen a 2025 National ESEA Distinguished School. Only 2 schools per state are selected.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Hall's Cross Roads Elementary School has been selected as a 2025 National ESEA Distinguished School, which is a national recognition honoring student achievement and program implementation in schools receiving federal Title I support.
Each year, only two schools per state are selected for the national honor.
The recognition also reflects the leadership of Principal Karen Jankowiak, officials said.

“Hall’s Cross Roads Elementary truly embodies what it means to put students first,” said Dr. Sean
Bulson, superintendent of Harford County Public Schools. “This recognition is a testament not only to the hard work of the students and staff, but also to Principal Jankowiak’s remarkable leadership. She has created an environment where every child feels seen, supported and capable of achieving at high levels. We are incredibly proud of the Hall’s Cross Roads community.”
Hall’s Cross Roads Elementary will be recognized at the 2025 National ESEA Conference where educators from across the country gather to celebrate excellence in education and share best practices.
