Meeting Seeks Input On How To Spend Harford County's Share Of MD Marijuana Sales Tax
Residents can attend meetings to provide input about how Harford County can best use CRRF from state tax imposed on marijuana sales.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Officials will be hosting several listening sessions to gather public input on the best use of Community Reinvestment and Repair Funds (CRRF), which represents Harford County’s share of the state tax imposed on marijuana sales.
Four in-person sessions will be held at 6 p.m. at the following locations:
- Wednesday, Dec. 4 - Edgewood Library, 629 Edgewood Road, Edgewood
- Tuesday, Dec. 17 - Aberdeen Library, 21 Franklin Street, Aberdeen
- Monday, Dec. 30 - Abingdon Library, 2510 Tollgate Road, Abingdon
- Tuesday, Jan. 14 - Jarrettsville Library, 3722 Norrisville Road, Jarrettsville
A virtual session will also be offered from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9 via Microsoft Teams. Participants can access the virtual session with the following code:

Individuals who want to speak will have three minutes to provide input. Registration is required at www.harfordcountymd.gov/CRRFInput. Written comments also are welcome and can be submitted to 15 S. Main Street, Bel Air, MD 21014 or ODCP@harfordcountymd.gov.
