Lane Closures Expected For 3 Projects Across Harford County

Drivers should be aware that lane closures will be needed for three projects across Harford County starting Sunday through November.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Drivers should plan for daytime and overnight lane closures at three road construction sites in Harford County.

Projects will start as soon as Sunday night. All three projects will be complete by late November, weather permitting.

Crews will work on a $950,000 project to mill and pave eastbound and westbound US 40 (Pulaski Highway) from MD 152 (Mountain Road) to MD 24 in Edgewood. Drivers can expect overnight single-lane closures Sundays through Thursdays, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and single-lane closures on weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through mid-November.

Crews will tackle a $66,000 project for roadside grading along the 1100 block of MD 136 (Harkins Road) just west of MD 24 (Rocks Road) near Pylesville. Drivers should expect daytime single-lane closures with flagging operations on this section of MD 136 on weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late October.

Starting as soon as Wednesday, contractor crews will start a $384,000 project to patch sections of pavement along MD 924 (Main Street/Rock Spring Road) from Broadway to MD 24/ US 1 Business in Bel Air. Drivers should anticipate overnight single-lane closures with flagging operations along this section of MD 924 on weeknights, Sunday through Thursday, from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. through late November.
