Looney's In Bel Air Gives Free Food To Police Tuesday

A pub in Bel Air announced complimentary food to honor the sacrifice of a Baltimore officer.

BEL AIR, MD — A restaurant in Bel Air is offering free meals to law enforcement on Tuesday, Jan. 11.

Looney's Pub is giving police officers complimentary food Tuesday in honor of Officer Keona Holley. The 39-year-old Baltimore police officer was gunned down before Christmas in south Baltimore near Curtis Bay. Two people have been charged in her death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Baltimore Convention Center, attended by many, including Gov. Larry Hogan.

Looney's Pub is at 312 S. Main Street in Bel Air.

Another Harford County restaurant is also treating police to free meals Tuesday. MacGregor's is providing free lunch to the Havre de Grace Police Department at 331 St. John Street in Havre de Grace.

It is not the first time Looney's has paid tribute to law enforcement.

After two deputies from the Harford County Sheriff's Office were killed in 2016, the pub in Bel Air hosted what it reported was its largest event ever, raising $140,000 to benefit families of fallen heroes.
