Man Arrested In Theft Of Vehicles, Clothes, Checks
Bel Air Police have arrested a man they say stole several vehicles, clothes and bank checks from others.
BEL AIR, MD — A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the theft of several vehicles in Bel Air.
On Oct. 9, Bel Air police officers were called to the 500 block of East Broadway for a reported stolen vehicle. Officers discovered that the victim's Hyundai had been stolen in the overnight. A mobile tracking application enabled officers to track the vehicle’s location in real-time and placed it in the area of Eastern Avenue in Baltimore City, according to the police department.
Officers found the stolen vehicle with Brandon Patrick Beavers, 46, behind the wheel. Baltimore City police officers were called to the scene and together, they took Beavers into custody without incident.

However, while officers were processing Beavers at the Bel Air Police Department, he was recognized by a detective as the same person connected to a previously reported stolen vehicle case from September 2025. A search of arrest records revealed that Beavers was in possession of a bank check belonging to a resident of Benjamin Road, who later confirmed their vehicles had been entered and property stolen overnight on Oct. 8, according to the police department.
Detectives also discovered that Beavers had previously stolen a vehicle from his landlord who he lived with. A search warrant was obtained and executed at a residence on Franklin Street in Bel Air. During the search, detectives recovered clothing that was worn by the suspect when using stolen debit cards at a Shell gas station in Baltimore County, the police department stated.

Beavers has been charged in connection to all four cases, specifically with motor vehicle theft, rogue and vagabond, theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft scheme and related fraud offenses.
