Man Airlifted After Jumping From Moving Vehicle
A medevac helicopter landed at Rockfield Park in Bel Air Thursday morning to transport a young man injured after jumping out of a car.

UPDATE: (2:26 p.m.)—An Abingdon man was flown to an area trauma center after jumping from a moving vehicle Thursday in Bel Air.
Shortly before 8:30 a.m. police and medical personnel arrived in the area of Route 22 and Fulford Avenue in Bel Air town limits after an accident was reported, according to a post from Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS spokesman, Rich Gardiner, on the association's official Facebook page.
Bel Air Police officers initially believed a 28-year-old Abingdon man was ejected from his vehicle after a collision, but police later determined that was not the case.

"The victim, a passenger in the vehicle, had been in a verbal argument with the driver and jumped from the vehicle," Deputy Chief Richard Peschek said Thursday afternoon.
A medevac helicopter landed at nearby Rockfield Park to transport the man, who suffered serious injuries due to the crash, Gardiner wrote.
