Due to the location’s proximity to a nearby elementary school, school officials were immediately notified of the man's death so students could be diverted away from the area during their Friday morning arrival at school, the police department said.

Suris has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death. The case remains an active investigation, the police department stated.
