Officers Participate In Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation Badges For Baseball Program With Kids

Two Harford County officers recently participated in the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation Badges for Baseball program with local youth.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Last week, Harford County Sheriff's Deputy Chief Hughes and OFC Rhodes participated in the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation Badges for Baseball program. Through this program, officers team up with local youth for a friendly game of baseball.

The goal of the program is to pair at-risk youth with law enforcement mentors from the community to use team sports for teaching life lessons.
