Porch Pirate Sought In Abingdon Diaper Theft
A package theft is under investigation in Abingdon.

ABINGDON, MD — After a "porch pirate" struck in Abingdon recently, investigators are looking to identify the thief and find out whether others have been the victims of similar crimes.
Authorities said a package was taken from the front porch of a home in the 500 block of Callander Way in Abingdon.
"This thief isn't getting away with some expensive gadget!" investigators said. "Nope, he managed to steal diapers. We just wish they were dirty ones!"

The theft was reported to the Harford County Sheriff's Office over the weekend, officials said Monday.

Investigators say they need help identifying the man who took the package at 10:19 a.m. on Feb. 18 and are interested in speaking with anyone who thinks they may have had a package stolen by the thief.
