School Supply Drive Helps Equip Kids For A Successful Start In The Classroom

The Pack the Patrol Car drive this summer yielded more than a dozen XL boxes packed to the top with school supplies for Harford Co. kids.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The annual Pack the Patrol Car drive held toward the end of summer across Harford County ended up helping countless kids return to school with the supplies they need.

According to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, on Aug. 22, deputies delivered 15 extra-large boxes full of school supplies and $649 in donations to the Harford County Education Foundation.

The supplies were collected at National Night Out, the sheriff's office's Walmart collection event and at precinct drop boxes.

"We’re grateful for the strong community support that made this possible, helping students and teachers start the school year with the resources they need," the sheriff's office stated. "Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered and supported Pack the Patrol Car."
