Spring Rabies Vaccination Clinics Scheduled For Harford County Pets

Three rabies vaccination clinics will be held in April and May for Harford County pets. Online appointments are being accepted now.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The Harford County Health Department will be holding its annual spring rabies vaccination clinics for dogs, cats and ferrets that are at least three months of age.

The first clinic will be April 27 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Susquehanna Hose Company, Division 4 911 Revolution Street, in Havre de Grace, followed by two more on May 4 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Aberdeen Volunteer Fire Department 21 North Rogers Street, in Aberdeen and at the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company 3825 Federal Hill Road, in Jarrettsville.

Dogs should be on a leash while cats and ferrets should be secured within cages or carriers. No animals other than dogs, cats and ferrets will be vaccinated.

Pet owners must have an appointment for each animal to be vaccinated. Appointments can be scheduled online. Walk-in customers cannot be vaccinated.

Vaccinations cost $10 per animal. Cash or check will be accepted at the clinic at the time of vaccination. Checks must be made payable to Harford County Rabies Clinics.
