Town of Bel Air will accept applications for zoning reclassification

Following the approval of the 2022 update of the Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Bel Air, requests for zoning reclassification by property owner will be accepted by the Town starting March 7, 2022. A resident may access the staff or Planning Commission recommendations for rezoning by going to the Town website (www.belairmd.org) and selecting the “Comprehensive Rezoning” button in the homepage. Questions or comments regarding the rezoning process or a specific parcel recommendation may be directed to the Planning Department at planning@belairmd.org or by calling (410) 638-4540. Individual property owners requesting to rezone their property will find an application on the Town website. The deadline for property owner applications is 4:30 p.m., March 23, 2022.
