Expo Highlights Harford's Volunteer Opportunities
The fourth annual Harford County Volunteer Expo took place Saturday.
was a one-stop shop for prospective volunteers on Saturday. About 60 organizations in need of volunteers lined the school's gymnasium with information.
The county expo's fourth year, according to community development coordinator , was another rousing success.
“It was great—we probably had about 300 people come out," Doran said. “The rain didn’t keep people away.”

Doran said he spoke with a family who was new to the area and hoped to meet people in their community through volunteering.
Whether they were looking for social opportunities, ways to meet volunteer requirements for school or scouts, or just wanted to help out the community, those in attendance had plenty to choose from.

“We’ll have a fifth one for sure,” Doran said.
