What's Open, Closed In Bel Air For Christmas 2021
Here's what to know about closures for Christmas in Bel Air, including recycling collection, parking and holiday shopping.

BEL AIR, MD — Due to the holidays, curbside collection schedules will shift during the last two weeks of the year for residents in the town of Bel Air.
Recycling will be collected for all town residents Thursday, Dec. 23, and Thursday, Dec. 30.
Crews will not be picking up yard waste on Thursday, Dec. 23; Friday, Dec. 24; and Friday, Dec. 31.

Those with questions about the holiday refuse and recycling collection schedule can call the Bel Air Department of Public Works at 410-638-4536.
Town Hall in Bel Air and Harford County government offices will be closed for the holiday both Thursday, Dec. 23, and Friday, Dec. 24.

Government offices in Bel Air and Harford County will also be closed Friday, Dec. 31, for New Year's Eve.
Parking is free for the holidays in Bel Air. People do not need to feed meters for on-street parking in town until Jan. 2, 2022.
Thousands of lights will be turned on downtown each night for Bel Air's Winter Wonderland display from 5 to 11 p.m. until Jan. 2.
The Harford Mall will be closed for Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 25.
Here are the hours at the Harford Mall during the holidays:
- 9 a.m.–9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday
- 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on Christmas Eve (Friday)
- Closed on Saturday
- 11 a.m.–5 p.m. on Sunday
- 10 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday
- 10 a.m.–6 p.m. on New Year's Eve (Friday, Dec. 31)
- 10 a.m.–6 p.m. on New Year's Day (Saturday, Jan. 1)
